mini update
racing again this weekend, only 3 weeks since the last race, so it seems to have come rather quickly! have asked for monday off as my experience of the last two races i am absolutely f*&^%d at the end of it and this time the race is all the up in leominster - bury farm, hope under dinmore - no details on the race, apart from the fact it is 3hrs long, but on google earth you can see what appear to be tracks from some form of racing.
found out that course is effectively over, exams next tuesday and thursday, but i have a lot of coursework to do, so working on this. then i can get back to focusing on dakar prep; sponsorship and training. it is beginning to drag....want to get on!!
i have seen that simon pavey's off road training school now do an enduro training course, so need to go and do the level 2 course first, in either july or september.
the dakar entry rules have tightened slightly; firstly they are restricting the engine size to 450cc and i need to have competed in a FIM World Championship event!! hmmm well it does not say how many events and what position....
i'll let you know how i get along...
oh - if you want to see some phots from the last race and have time on your hands, you can log onto http://www.endurophotos.co.uk/2009/CEC09/rd3_shuckburgh_240509/1/index.htm and scroll through, just look out for my number 168!!
finally, i would really love it if you all became followers of my blog = )) it will help keep me motivated
ciao for now folks
