"Thank goodness you are alright - real stuff and the popping noise - arrghh!"
Lorna Mackinnon
"How is your shoulder? Hope you are feeling better!"
Rachel Wales
"Ask your doc for diclofenac. It works wonders. Good luck mate.....It's a very tough decision balancing injurys and races. Ultimately, if you have been honest with your Doctor, you should do what he says."
Steve Baker
"Motorbikes and slowly do not go together!!!! Take it easy over the weekend. It is a huge disapointment to miss the next few races but hopefully it will mend quickly after the Op"
Chris Percival
"Sorry to hear that - still chalk up one for the most common biking injuries list (a must on any road to Dakar!). Bugger about D2D though - but you could always come up for the day and soak it up and hang out at the pits for the experience (but I'm sure you'd be forgiven for sitting at home with your feet up too!) Did he say when surgery was likely? Give me shout if you do fancy going (maybe I could get you on the way through London - not sure if I am going up all weekend or on Sunday yet), otherwise get well soonand we'll do Weston Supermare beach rest in October?"
Jago Pickering
"Just chatted: sorry to awaken, get better soon!"
Julian Melck - Kersefontein, South Africa
"Eeeks. Just seen this. Now I feel guilty for having poked your shoulder!!!"
Jo Mills
"Thanks for keeping me undated about your race developments...please take care and I hope you feel better soon!!!"
Julia Smith
And to Kev Mathers, who's shoulder dislocation stories made me want to vomit...again! cheers for your advice......but can't find the links you sent old bean ; )
